The Berkeley, London

The Berkeley Dress Show opens the London Season and is one of its most important and prestigious events. There could be no more fitting venue for the revival of the traditional show than an evening in the ballroom at the Berkeley Hotel, and in 2011 I was able to organise the event as creative director, putting together a team of rising young stars who were making their mark on the scene, including fashion designer Hanna Marie Hutchison who dressed one of Hello! Magazine's cover girls; popstar Cheryl, classical singer Isabel Suckling and Czech magician and mentalist Jakub Kroulik. The makeup and hair was masterly done by students from the London College of Fashion, led by Mary-Lynn Ozone. The evening was photographed by Mike Daines, with the assistance of photography students from the University of the Arts London. The Berkeley Dress Show united high society with high fashion, and I was able to put my own unique twist on the venerable tradition by showcasing young talent and offering my expert stylistic guidance.

Berkeley Dress Show 2010

The Hurlingham Club, London

Charity: Veterans Aid

The Berkeley Dress Show opens the London Season and is one of its most important and prestigious events, and so I was proud to have organised the Show at the Hurlingham Club in 2010, which was one of the biggest and grandest to ever take place.

Designers working in every style in the world of London College of Fashion showcased their talents in an evening of unforgettable glamour, and the debutantes making their entrances in high society cut striking figures, turning heads and attracting the attention of the media at large. I take pride and pleasure in helping every girl to look her best and make a statement, and on this grand occasion they could not have made a better first impression.
