Have you ever seen a leatherback turtle climbing a palm tree?
During my time in Costa Rica back in 2023 I had the privilege of meeting a remarkable individual who described himself as a local with the unique ability to communicate with nature. Our connection was instant, leading to a collaborative journey.

Inspired by the lush rainforests š³š“ and the majestic leatherback turtles š¢ whose š„ nesting rituals I was fortunate to witnessāI transformed my photographs into a tactile art installation. By printing my original rainforest images onto bed linen covers and pillowcases, I aimed to bring the essence of the rainforest into everyday life, prompting reflection on our daily interactions with nature.

Central to this installation is a handmade tortoise, symbolizing my commitment to exploring ecotourismās impact and advocating for sustainable practices. This piece serves as a reminder of the delicate balance between human activity and wildlife conservation.

Through this installation, I invite viewers to consider how simple daily choices š§ŗ like mindful water usage during laundryācan contribute to a more sustainable future.
