During my time in Costa Rica back in 2023 I had the privilege of meeting a remarkable individual who described himself as a local with the unique ability to communicate with nature. Our connection was instant, leading to a collaborative journey.

Inspired by the lush rainforests 🌳🌴 and the majestic leatherback turtles 🐢 whose 🥚 nesting rituals I was fortunate to witness—I transformed my photographs into a tactile art installation. By printing my original rainforest images onto bed linen covers and pillowcases, I aimed to bring the essence of the rainforest into everyday life, prompting reflection on our daily interactions with nature.

Central to this installation is a handmade tortoise, symbolizing my commitment to exploring ecotourism’s impact and advocating for sustainable practices. This piece serves as a reminder of the delicate balance between human activity and wildlife conservation.
